Anybody else having a problem backing up this game. I used dvd decrypter to read and write when I boot with swap magic disc then insert backup copy I get a green border then it turns into a blue border but it never loads. Just wondering if anybody else is having a problem. One thing I am using lower class media. Don't know if this makes a difference.

I believe Xmen 2 needs to rebuilt with isobuster and start a new project with Nero.

I think it has DUMMY files it in that's why.

WHAT rebuild? i don't think so the games is 1,717,216KB that's alil over 1gbs and the dummy file shouldn't be a problem really i don't know where to find it but if that is the problem go ahead and try it i burn it with decrypter 4x on a maxell 8x dvd-r load with 3.6 no problem the games doesn't mess up at all

I am having the same trouble but I cant send it to my hdd loader either. It keeps saying invalid disk. I also tried backing it up and I got it to work but it won't go pass the main menu. When go to select new game it freezes. Does anyone have a sure fix to this. Thanks for your time.
    Sincerely Ghost.

    had no problems with this
Never use Memorex, they are just crap
    I always use Philips DVD-R 8X speed
burn at 4X and rarely ever have a problem.

Do you NEED to rebuild this file I tried to use decrypter to write the iso i downloaded. and it didnt work. burned on the slowest speed on imation DVD-R.Got a mod chip and it didnt work.

    Should I try Nero instead?
Hoe exactly to you burn with nero? Do you go to iso tab or UDF/ ISO?
    Thanks!

    No need to rebuild it
DVD Decrypter should work fine. Did for me
Imation are not good media. You may want to switch
    to a more quality media
    8X DVD-R burned at 4X
    Philips,Verbatim,TDK,Ritek G04, Taiyo Yuden
Sony or Fuji made in Japan only!

    Using Nero

    1. Start Nero, Use the Wizard (for easy use)
    2. Select "DVD" then select Next
    3. Select "Copy a DVD" then select Next
    4. Select your source drive
    5. Select or Deselect "copy on the fly" then click next
    6. Select your write speed
    7. Select either "Test", "Test and Burn" or "Burn"
    8. Press "Burn" to begin

This next way is without the Wizard

    1. Start Nero, and select "File" then "New..."
    2. On upper left side of the window from the drop down menu select "DVD"
    3. Select "DVD Copy" Icon
    4. Select "Copy options" tab
    5. Select or Deselect "copy on the fly"
    6. Select source drive and read speed
    7. If needed Select "Image" tab to choose image directory and select/deselect "delete image..."
    8. Select "Burn" tab and choose your settings
    9. Press "Copy" to begin
this infor was all in a sticky in the PS2 general discussion
    section
