I see on the afterDawn list this codec pack from www.xpcodecpack.com. It seems to offer a complete solution. Is it a good way of getting all I need in the way of codecs onto my PC?
I prefer K-lite codec pack myself. I am sure that many folks have their own opinion, and many will tell you NOT to install a codec pack, and install only what you need. One codec at a time. K-lite gives you the option to install only what you want. Plus I have used it for many many years without a hiccup. But, I like living on the edge. Hell, I drank milk that expired yesterday.
