Xp DOS

    Does anybody know how to get the dos menu up in Windows xp start up as in windows 98, if you press Ctrl you will get a menu. Please help

    XP isn't DOS based, therefore there isn't DOS.

    What exactly is it that you need or are trying to do?

    im trying to wipe the hard drive because the computer (Hp Pavillion) has a missing file and won't load. i dont have the recovery discs so that won't work either.

    If you have the XP disc it will do that. Or you could download fdisk and set things up that way. I've used Super fdisk. Just "Google" for it.
