xp file list

not sure if this is possible, but am after a bit of advice re. dead hard drive

essentially had a pc with 2 drives in: one with xp (master) and another with lots of mp3s ripped from my own cds (slave)

the one with the mp3s has since died (fails to spin up) and will cost around $500 CDN to repair.

is there a slim chance that when it was working, xp on the master drive cached/saved a file list in a log or text file somewhere of the slave drive.

- so i know what mp3s and data was on the slave drive
