First, if this is the wrong category, sorry. I'm not sure if this is a Nero issue, or a Liton issue.
My first problem which was a fatal exception error when I restarted or booted my computer was resolved with a driver update, as I have installed the Incd option with my OEM Nero version ( NeroExpress 6)
But what has also occurred since I installed Nero is that if I leave a disk in the cd-r/w drive and subsequently restart my computer, Xp home ( OEM Dell)The computer hangs at the splash screen and I have to use the power button to shut down, then when it does boot, I get an error screen reminding my that I shut down improperly, and have the choice to start safe mode, normally, etc. I am able to 'Start Windows normally' and proceed with no problems.
SO, if anyone has a solution, that'd be great.
    Thanks.

That doean't really solve the problem. Of course I can just take the disk out, but alas, I, and the other people who use the computer don't always remember to take the disk out. You suggestion is a workaround, I want to know why it is doing it, and how to correct it.

    Hi
Fair point, its hanging when you turn it on because windows is looking for a boot section to start up, which it is not finding. Try changing the boot order in your BIOS to
    FLOPPY
    HARD DRIVE
    CD ROM
That should fix your problem, let me know if it does.

No change it to hard drive...then cdrom then floppy. This way it will boot the hard drive without looking for others. If youi need to install something then just hit escape to access the cd rom or change it back to the cd rom or whatever.

I have mine set up to boot from hard drive with no problems and I disabled floppy seek...so it dont look for the floppy anymore...

Thanks, ozzy214..that did the trick, but I also changed the order of my two cd drives, putting my cd-r second to the cd-rom..just to be sure.

And, thanks, also, berty 642, for your help.
All is well in my pc world.
