xp log on screen

    I hope this helps others who made this error. I am prepareing a tower for someone else and I accidentally did something that made the log on screen appear without a name/password required. I could have locked myself out!> In order to remove the screen, I went to the RESTORE screen and selected "UNDO LAST RESTORE POINT". Screen gone along with the programs that came after. Reloaded those. Hope this helps.

    you don't have to do a restore to change the login screen options. you can do that from the control panel under user accounts.
