[XP] Need help setting up a Lan

    I'm posting this for a friend who is unable to go online with his laptop.

    He had to re-install XP, which he did but now he can't set up his lan connection to go online.
    He's using a Fios modem.

    Any help would be very appreciated.

    He should probably be calling Verizon for support, since they support the FIOS modem and can probably walk him through the steps of getting connected.
