    hey everyone

I have a 700mb xvid encoded file that i wanna play but there are a couple of programs..

here what happens when i play it in mplayer2/WMP:

the video plays but in a little bit slow motion (not really slow motion but slower than normal) which makes the audio go GRADUALLY out of sync..

heres what happens when i play it in VLC:

video stutters extremely.. unwatchable.. audio is good and probably in sync with the video but i'm not sure since the video is unwatchably stuttering..

WHEN I DISABLE THE AUDIO TRACK THE VIDEO PLAYS PERFECTLY.. VERY VERY PERFECTLY.. but off course the audio is off :-D

can anybody help me with this.. my pc is not a top notch one.. but it should be able to play xvid normally as i have done it before..

    here are the specs:
    WinXP SP2
    pentium 3 600mhz
    128 mb

and yes i know that XP/128 ... but i have played xvid vids before on this machine and dont know what got it messes up..

i use Nic's Xvid codec for video and AC3 for audio.. but both shouldnt matter in VLC..

i've searchd everywhere for a solution but haven't found any... i you need any more pecifications please let me know!
