WHich one produces the best quality. Want to know so i can encode some movies with the best one. Xvid u only have to put the moive file size down where divx u have to put the bit rate. Which produces better quality films.
Personally i think XviD is way better than Divx, i just comes down to better framerates of compression.
yep i agree, xvid has won many awards for best mpeg-4 compression quality, with a good source high motion blockiness is barely noticiable, divx although its still a great mpeg-4 compression seems to struggle with high motion just a tad
