I am trying to make an xvid backup (my first) of a dvd following the guide from this page. everything was fine and dandy and until the actual encoding part. i usually run the 2 passes separately (was fine with divx) and do them when at work. Anyway, the first pass ran ok, resulting in a 5.6 mb file, which i thought was small but i didnt know any better. anyhoo, when i tried to run the second pass the next day it resulted in an error. is there a problem with the first pass file? should it be bigger? also, the size was ok too, multiples of 16 etc... thanks in advance for any help
