You don't need Media Centre to do the thing I have in my post (2nd from the top). ..There is also a decoder in the link so you can stream in almost any format.
I just installed Tversity using the afterdawn guide earlier tonight and it is working for the most part, I watched Turistas (crazy movie). Is it safe to say that any video that you can play on your PC in windows media player should be able to play when streaming using TVersity? I have a few xvids that won't stream correctly, when I hit play from the xbox, I lose the TVersity connection and have to reset the sharing from the PC only to have it happen again. Then in the options I told it to transcode "alaways" in case there was some mistaken identity and it still does it. Any suggestions? Also, is there a way to enable some type of seeking function? It appears that the only thing available is "pause" and "play".
I installed it and it won't work for me (just the videos). My 360 says that the operation is not supported. I think it's the transcoder. ..when you installed yours did you have a desktop icon for it?
Yeah, a green square square with text "TV". Make sure your transcoder settings are correct, try a few videos to, not just one or two.
No the TVersity works fine. It's the transcoder that's confusing me. ..I don't know how to use the thing.
