XVID to VCD/SVCD!!! HELP!

    I downloaded the Lord of the rings 2 award screener video, and its in XVid encoding.
    it will not let me convert the file to mpeg what so ever. Im a huge newbie when it comes to this, so anyone that would be willing to help me, please it would be appreciated. if you leave your MSN/ICQ i can contact you that way.
