    Gang - For what it's worth I've just finished ripping XXX state of the union to my hard drive . I used dvd decrypter 1st. then I ran that file through dvd shrink to squeeze it down . I then took the resulting video TS file and created an Iso file with Roxio Creator Classic usiing the data format which brings me to now with the iso file on my HDD awaiting burning !So try DVD Decrypter & then DVD Shrink it seems to have worked for me ! will do another post if any problems show up Good Luck Gang ! Peace & happy burning!

    @TECOPOSE

    Please turn off your capslock, typing in all caps is against forum rules, it is considered shouting.

    You don't need to save it to a folder, just open Clone and choose Clone DVD Titles, and pick the fullscreen or widescreen and burn.

    If you want to save to a folder on your hard drive then just choose that option when you get to the output screen, just choose the DVD Files tab, and then direct it to the folder you want to save in.

    CloneDVD 2.8.5.1 & AnyDVD 5.3.2.1 copied the movie with no problems, make sure you have the latest versions of them.

    I used DVDFab Decrypter to burn the DVD to my hard drive, then I used CloneDVD to burn the movie to a DVD.

    NOTE.. I could ONLY burn the movie with CloneDVD, no extras.

    I used DVD shrink to burn the full disk.

    just finished XXX-State of the Union with no problems. I used DVDecrypter and DVD Shrink, but I used the reauthor option. Didn't try to do the whole movie. I had no read errors with decrypter and the movie plays fine. Hope this helps.

    yea it's clonedvd2 can you make a wide screen movie to a full screen if so how? thnx;) Problem solved I made a back up of xXx state ot the union ;) I took the DVD back for a 3rd time and exchanged it for another one because it was defective they both had a little hump on the play side at the edge of the DVD it looked like it was under the clear coat it may have been a piece of trash who knows.

    xxx was a bugger. Switched from dvd decrypter .3 to .4 and that worked...but...my liteon dvd rom still would hang at 94% with dvd decrypter. Took me 4hrs to to figure out that the rom wouldn't read it, but the burner would. Once I used the burner with the latest version of decrypter everything worked fine.

    Tried copying this earlier today with the latest version of DVD Decrypter and DVDShrink. One try was with AnyDVD running in the background while using DVD Decrypter and one try without AnyDVD running. Both methods seemed rip it successfully, but when I go to reauthor using DVDShrink, the "Burn" tab is completely grayed out resulting in only Shrinking it to a folder. Any suggestions why it might be doing this???
