this thing just came out today and i can verify it works... i've just used it to decrypt the eboot off gran turismo and its playing on my PSP 5.50gen-b right now... from what i've read it works with most of the sought-after games right now like GT, gi-joe, motostorm etc but I really want to try this on Beaterator_USA_PSP so i'm gonna give that a go right now and i will report back if it was successful
hoho confirmed... took about 3 minutes cause i got the hang of it after doing GT... beaterator decrypts just fine. . .. fun fun !
How does it work? I've also DL it but dunno what to do becoz I'm new to PSP hacking..... I'm using the PSP2000 with firmware 5.00 M33-6. Can it work with my PSP? or do I have to update my PSP to 5.50 GenB?? Can u please explain to me what I need to do in order to play my GT and iL2 Sturmovik-Birds of prey.iso. I really need help and really wanna play these games.... Thanks

I agree, if this thing works to play Gran Turismo and MOtorstorm and such, someone please explain how it works, because the rar is VERY small....and if it does need 5.50 GEN-B to work, can someone direct me to a faq to upgrade to that?...I have a fat 5.00M33-4....thanks in advance!

I tryed Beaterator but i couldn't get it to work it just went to a black screen after the psp gameboot, what may i have did wrong? Psp status Model:3000 Firmware:Gen-A(Full)
Some games work on a 3000 but most don't, same with 5.00m33 some games work on this once patched. Need 5.50 GenB2 then it runs most AFL & Rugby - both start but cannot play a game Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 - won't decrypt
yes i can confirm that ... it fails decryption... no clue why .. . i am running 5.50 gen-b so all my results are based on that

OK, got it working now. The step that is not mentioned is getting the eboot from your game from UMDGEN, and decrypting THAT file. That's why I was getting errors that it failed to decrypt.
Hey guys, i recently modded my psp (myself) to have CFW 5.00 M-336 I played patapon but everytime i saved the saved data was corrupetd... formatted memory stick and got fixed, but now: I haven't been able to play YUGIOH TAG FORCE 3 or DISGAEA 1 (tried both CSO's and ISO's) Both of them SOMETIMES show the icon on the game menu, and sometimes not. When they show up, it starts, and for DISGAEA it never gets past the 1st "now loading" screen, and for the TAG FORCE 3 the screen turns black and nothing happens. What am i doing wrong? Do i need newer CFW? i see you talking about a 5.50 gen or something, but i am not sure, and don't want to update until i confirm. In that case, will the new CFW let me play any CSO/ISO's from SD stick also? any help is appreciatted, i just recently got into this psp thing, Got away with modding on first try. But got stuck with ISO/CSO problems... ----MY PSP---- FAT PINK JAPANESE PSP (1003) 4gb SONY SD STICK (Original i guess... could it be fake?) ------------- I just found put that everytime i copy from my laptop to the psp mem stick one of 2 thing happens: Everything copies BAD --- "unsupported Data" for PICTURES *JPG when i try to view them, and the game icon wont show under the game menu. Everything copies GOOD --- PICTURES are viewable and the game icon shows, but then happens what i stated above. (stays in "now loading" or dark screen forever)
I managed to get MUA2, GT, & a few others to work, but I can't get Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs to work at all. When I go to start it, it goes to a black screen & then restarts my psp. Any ideas why this game isn't working with the decrypter?
