Your opinion needed on Msi Dvd recorder

    MSI DVD Recorder DVD+R DVD-R DVD+RW DVD-RW Model # DR4-A

    this right now is going for 139.99, it includes 8 mg buffer, HD burn, ABS, so my question is whats wrong with it? i am gettin a dvd burner for christmas, but i want to make sure the one i get is a good one. I will backup my movies and games with this, will it work? and how well?

    As far as a DVD burner goes it's more than a respectable model. I would still reccommend a Pioneer drive.

    As for game burning, it will not fit the bill (neither will Pioneer drives). If you want to burn games and stuff pay a visit to http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/58117
