I think we should have a your posted messages thing, since it is quite easy to lose track of what posts you have posted on, and what posts you haven't.

E.g. I go away for 3 weeks, and I come back to Afterdawn. I will not go through 255 pages of topics just to find my post.

You can search for all messages by a particular user (ie you!) for a period of time, 1 day, 1 week, etc. That should give you the feature you want.

Yeah lol - Search message function. It only holds 150 or so i think. Its not a bad facility though. As i put to dRD before, it should be upgraded so that you can search messages posted by a specific user and a specific topic. EG:

    Search User: Oriphus
    Search Topic: Sexy Bastard

Up comes Oriphus is a sexy bastard (and its so true :D)

Oriphus, stay just the way you are, please.

There is plenty of room for sanity. For everybody else, there is Oriphus.

Er,Praetor, don't mean to be rude, but if you have no comment, then what's the point of posting?

In the upcoming "v3" there will be a feature called "My Account" that will eventually hold list of all threads that you're subscribed to and also facility to track your postings to various threads.

Yes. Each thread will have a checkbox next to it, so you can select all the threads you wish to unsub from and click submit and that's it.

Not to keep your hopes too high -- the main purpose of "v3" is to upgrade the rather plain look-and-feel, get rid of some non-relevant site areas and integrate forums and main site better together. In addition to this, some minor stuff will be fixed/upgraded, such as "my account" feature will be added, new site-wide search engine is 100x better than the current rather lame search thingy (testing it right now, I might launch it even to v2) and will allow users to submit news and guides more easily so we can basically by clicking a button to move them to "real" news and guides sections.

It wont take your dog out, fill your fridge with beer and satisfy your woman/man/goat. For those, you need to wait v4 ;-)
