i've tried many homebrew applications but most of them, i find boring and useless like tetris game and n64 emulator (way to slow and buggy).

so far, i only have 5 homebrew apps on my homebrew channel.
    1. homebrew browser
    2. mplayer
    3. gecko os
    4. gc-linux
    5. gecko region free

    what's your top 5?
and can you recommend some useful apps that i didn't mention?

Wiitube lets you play youtube files on your wii. I think you were suppose to be able to watch video on from the HBC, but it didn't work for me. Anyway it is an Alpha version, you can find it in the homebrew browser under Mplayer. Just keep going back.
