Ok, I thought this would go away in time but I cant seem to find out how to make it go! There is a number in the top right hand corner of my screen that ells the average fps. I cant get it to go away! I have installed, uninstalled, ran ccleaner but I cant get it to go. It is on my videos, my games and even on when my screensaver goes on.

How the hell can I completely uninstall this annoying piece of crap!?

Already tried that. The average is there even when fraps isn't on. Fraps is not in taskmanager when the average is there, its like a ghost program...

    Have you tried Ctrl + R in-game?

If not check the control panel of your graphics card, I had a similar problem with an ATI radeon card. It was putting the fps onscreen and disabled it by going to the ATI Tray Tool & selected Options > OnScreen Display and removing the optin in there.

Other than that I dont know what to suggest. Sorry bro!

Ati Tray tools had it enabled. I thought it was fraps because the number looks the same as Fraps's.

I personally run most of my games with Fraps enabled. Don't forget with fraps you can choose which corner it occupies.

Yes, I always knew that. I am the kind of person who likes to toy with things and find out what makes them tick, so I knew the setting under Fraps pretty well.

It was just that the average fps number that I couldnt get to go away looked like the numbers from fraps. Same yellow color, and same size and thats what made me think the culprit was fraps.

Yeah I remember when ATI tray tools did that to me too! I couldn't find where to shut it off. Luckily I got a 7900 GTX a few days later.

A 7900GTX is hardly a big boost from an X1900GT really.
What was your 3dmark with the 7900 by the way, or didn't you test it?

Abuzar, you got a 3850 now I see. How do you like it? What's your score with it and what drivers are you using with it? 7.11?
