Protection Error With SHRINK

    When I hit "OK" to backup DVD (enconding process), I get an error message. It reads the following:
    "DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue

    Copy Protection Error
    The request could not be performed beause of I/O device error"

    This sometimes helps that problem. Try playing the dvd movie with your player software for a few seconds. then stop the playback and open Shrink and see if it works. You sometimes need to play the movie a few seconds to unlock the drive for Shrink to work.

    i'm getting the same msg. BUT, mine reads Failed to read file "e:\". It seems to happen right after I upgraded to a new HP630i burner. Both (dvd & burner drive) Jumpers are set to c/s. Any other other suggestions?
