Help!!! dvdxextreme express-can not burn

I have dvdxtreme and it will not allow me to burn DVD's. I get a message unreadable DVD. I was told the software does not have a ripper. What is a ripper and where can I download one?

I think 321 Studios is going out of business, so you'd be better off getting in to DVDShrink.
