DVD9 into 2 DVD5

    I'm trying to back up a DVD that I do not want to compress because it is a sporting event. I do not want the loss any quality. Is it possible for me to put the first half of the production on one DVD-R and the other half on another DVD-R? Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to the helpful posters on AfterDawn.
