Hi guys, I'm new to the mac world of DVD ripping. I've done a lot of work with my PC, and was in love with the program "VirtualDub". Is there a similare program for mac? Or for that matter, any kind of program that I can use to split my media files? I'm trying to make a video in imovie, and I need to use specific sections of a movie I want to rip...
I read somewhere here that you can convert to .mov and edit in iMovie, and if this is the only answer, where can I get a program that will allow me to convert to .mov files? Thanks for your help!

Check out dvdxdv. It will let you extract dvd video to quicktime and also can set in/out points. Also cinematize may do it too.
