my blank dvds wont burn?q

    i ripped, didnt have to compress, and went to burn with roxio (followed the guide exactly) and said to put in a blank disk and one was already in. I have a 16x duel layerr= R RW burner...i cant remember the brand.. do i need a certain kind of blank dvd.. why isn't it reading it, maybe i am doing something wrong.. highly possible..

    You don't really describe what happens when it "won't burn." I'd go with -R media though.

    roxio didnt read the dvd that was in the dvd drive waiting to be burned. it kept asking me to insert a blank disk when there was already one in there.
    what is the difference between R+ and R-. so you dont reccomend RW blank disks at all? even though my burner is a DVD+ReWritable?
