suggestion w/ ripper, compressor & burner

    SOrry, I read the article above about ripping with MTR. Now that MTR if free, is there a compressor that is free for the Mac, like DVDShrink for the PC? Or do I simply use MTR to Rip and Compress? Thanks for all your help.

    The only reason I ask is because most movies of mine are more than two hours long when I do movie only.

    All Right, youll have to use a ripper that will demux (I think
    mac the ripper does if you select the title-chapter mode and
    hit the little D in the right bottom corner). Then download
    Minx Free Transcoder (Compressor). Now drag the Mpeg2 file
    and the AC3 audio in and compress. It actually works good (I
    tried it before I bought DVD2one but it took to long) But be
    careful it takes a while (I personaly recomend DVD2one.
