HELP PLEASE COMPRESSING AVI TO FIT ON DVD-R

    Please can anybody help me, Ive got a large avi file I need to compress to fit on 1 dvd-r, Ive got dvd2onex but It wont see my avi file. Can anyone give me a step by step guide on what programs to use and how to compress avi successfully. Im tearing my hair out. PLEASE HELP!

    Ive sorted it thanks, i made a disc image from toast then mounted it, then ripped it using mac the ripper, then compressed it using dvd2one, cheers anyway I never thought i'd get a reply from anyone!
