   I've tried to export a ripped DVD in Toast, and it says I need Toast with Jam because of the Dolby Digital. I already have Jam, so is there something I'm doing wrong or is "Toast with Jam" a separate program?

   Export it as what?
   
   If you are trying to convert to mpg or quicktime etc, look into dvdxdv or cinematize.
