I recently purchased a new dvd burner. I went through the steps to install it according to the product instructions. I cannot get it to respond at all. I checked the system menu and it says the the driver for the USB mass storage device has a problem.
Can anyone help me at all with this. I would really appreciate it.

No problem message. Just a yellow mark in my device manager next to USB mass storage device.

remove/uninstall the usb mass storage device from your device manager, restart windows to let it load it's driver

I hate to appear pedantic on these issues & act like the "police". But i think it is really important that our rules should be adhered to! I can be rather "anal" (I hate that term - sounds too much like bottom to me!) at times!
