Is there any way to burn an iDVD project with Toast Titanium (external burner) if you do not have a superdrive? I was under the impression that you can because a Mac rep told me I could and Toast's instructions say it's compatible with iDVD. However, I cannot figure it out. I've burned movies with Toast, but it does not seem to have an option to custom create the menu or submenus like iDVD does. Please help!
any specs on the external? i got a lacie........ it works fine some externals will work with iDVD but not all... check with apple, they should have a list of compatible burners
Which version of idvd do you have? Because if you have idvd4 than you have to use a hack to export to a disk image which you can use toast to burn. If you have idvd 5 you can just export a disk image and burn with toast.
i didnt know you could make images on that? would it be faster? save as iso and then just burn it or would it round off to the same amount?
I think that it is the only way to burn with an external burner with idvd. Thats the way i do it. It wont let you change the burner so its image or bust.
