Hello i'm using a software called blaze media pro and i always used it to convert all my video files butone day i downloaded this movie and i tried to convert it to vcd and i got the error that the movie had a THE source file had a duration of 0 seconds i tried the movie and checked that if it was working well and it did but i think the 0 duration meant that it i could't forward it or anything it was like i had to watch the movie only can you guy please tell me what software can i use to convert this "ONE DURATION VIDEO FILE" THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!
@ tonyhawk; your question is more an encoding query rather than a cdrw issue.That said i have asked to get it teleported to the right section. Once there you should get more help with your problem andmerr
Sorry , I never used that one, maybe the program was just showing the point of the video you're looking at (the beginning). But if you are only interested in VCDs, do this thing: 1) open the file with VirtualDub and see if it comes with some warning; if so, you'll have to do some trick to have A/V in sync (read the FAQ: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/196299 ) 2) if not, open in with TMPGenc , selecting your system in the Wizard and being careful to choose, at step 3/5 of the wizard 'other settings' and choosing 'motion search precision = very high quality' (video TAB) and, if the video il larget than 80' , in the 'Advanced' tab, a proper source range for CD1 and CD2 and, in the 'Advanced' tab, 'Video Aspect Method = Full screen (keep aspect ratio). In 'Source Range' you should see the fill range: from 0 (the begining) to the # of frames you have and their conversion to time (PAL: 25 fps, NTSC: 23.976, NTSC Film 29.97 fps, AVIs = 30 fps). Since you need just a VCD, the free version of TMPGenc is enough (the 'Plus' allows to open/ancode SVCD MPEG-2 files).
