Hi! Well I've been burning my backup's and I have the new lacie DL burner but I really don't feel like burning my movies which I already own on a double layer disc. Either way I have noticed that many times the menu takes up a lot of space. However I also want to at least keep the basic menu becuase it seems to me that thats important. Does anyone know how to create a still menu image or a menu which only containts a link to the movie but not to the special features and crap like that?
shrind the video_ts folder by using DVD2oneX. it is 50 bucks, but it will save $ on double layer discs, just buy regular 4.6 gb discs.
Toast can do that... Or you could rip with MTR in movie only mode. It still keeps the menu but doesn't go straight to it. There's a bug though so some discs may not work....

BURN - POPCORN WHEN IT GETS INTO POPCORN.. ITS ALREADY COMPRESSED. SO IT JUST NEEDS TO BURN.. DVD2ONEX COMPRESSES BETTER ANYWAYS.. ITS ALL BASED ON TRIAL AND ERROR, BUT WHEN YOU'RE DONE COMPRESSING... RUN IT THROUGH "DVD PLAYER" MAKE SURE ITS GOOD. THEN YOU CAN BURN IT WITH POPCORN.
