They are all pieces of the same archive, broken into smaller pieces for easier transfer / management.

Their may be lots of files but they all work together to reproduce the original content be it a single video file or hundreds of smaller files. Simply double click the first in the set (.001 for example or .rar) to open the winrar application (assuming you have installed it) this will allow you to see the contents of the archive. Or, as the guide says, right click the first one and choose 'extract here'

for more details see the winrar website at http://www.rarlab.com/

The archive cannot be recreated if there are any parts missing.

    *tip*

If you have the luxury of more than 1 hard drive, it is faster to extract from one HD to another. This is because your PC is not reading from and writing to just one Disk. Instead it can perform the read, decompress, write operation much faster.

are you sure its 100% finished?
re-open the torrent in a different client?

also run the sfv file in a sfv checker (google)
    if still no good....chuck it

burn the iso with dvd decrypter,
    mode/iso/write
but remember the ps2 needs modding

go to the ps2 section for more details
