Hi I am new here and I have downloaded a movie which is xvid.ts format and it plays ok on Win Media Player but I would like to burn it to DVD-R so I can play it on a DVD player is this possible and if so how , thanks regards Tony
Use DIVXTODVD. It is very simple. I did an easy to understand tutorial for it and posted it to the site. Did I mention DIVXTODVD is free?! Here is the tutorial: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/221819 Get DivXtoDvD here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm
Hi uniique1 thanks for your reply I will follow your suggestions and get back to you with how it goes thanks again regards Tony
You're welcome. Like I said, it is very simple and DivX usually work through a wide variety of video files successfully but if you have any issues, I'll be around.
Hi uniique1 I did what you suggested and followed your easy Tutorial and it worked great albeit taking a long time to convert but the result was worth it thanks again regards Tony
Quick question guys on this same topic. I'v been using nero to do this process and it seems to be recording the Xvid or Divx to the DVD-R at a very slow rate. It looks like it is burning the video to the DVD-R in real time. Is it supposed to take this long, or do I have some wierd settings on? Any help will be appreciated.
When you say Nero, you mean what exactly? Nero Vision Express? Because it sounds like you are converting to DVD Video.
