I want to play games that I have downloaded and urared on my xbox but I have never done anything like this, can someone walk me through the steps, i dont want to invest in a mod chip or anything liek that is there any way that i can still play them like that?
The only other way is softmodding (search through afterdawn for tutorials) of course installing a modchip is the best way to do this.
As with most things it is only hard if you dont know what you are doing. I got mine installed professionally which is the safest way i think. As far as the best modchips generally the executor 3 modchip seems to be one of the best i have the executor 2 and it works fine and has done for nearly two years now. You can of course get modchips that also dont require any soldering although i dont know too much about these.
@chuey_mtz If you plan on modding with a chip (highly recommended) manufan is right, go with the Xecuter 3.
