Trying to get widescreen Avi to make widescreen VCD

Hi.

I've recenly tried to make a VCD from an avi file using Nero's VCD creation facility. All worked nicely, but the resulting VCD is 4:3 pan and scan, when the original avi file was nice and widescreen.

Anyone know of a way I can get round this to make a widescreen VCD from a widescreen file?

1) wrong forum (there is a VCD forum)
2) If you went to the proper forum you would have read that Nero is not the best tool for .AVI--->VCD conversion
3) If you had searched (using the 'search' utility) you would have solved everything by yourself.
