Hi, I'm thinking of getting a new notebook, and am deciding between the powerbook 15" combodrive vs superdrive. Can I rip DVDs using Mac The Ripper on a combodrive without the DVD burning capability? I already have a iMac G5 with a DVD burner, so I don't need to spend the extra cash to get another dvd burner.

    Thanks in advance!
