Burning AVI with Toast

I have tried to Burn a AVI File with Toast 7 and everytime the picture is black and white, and formatted improperly. Anyone know why?

 

I use SVCD2DVD to convert avi files then Shrink to create dvd.

toast 7 is on mac.

i use toast 6 all the time with mpegs and and avi files.
does the file play fine on the computer? i'm guessing it does.

i've actually not used toast 7 on this one.. but its supposed to be much faster conversion time.

and are you burning this to dvd or vcd?

I'm trying to burn this to DVD. But if I can get a high quality VCD that will work too.

 

You need the Divx codec or it wont work correctly. I had the same problem.
