I have looked everywhere. sent an unawnsered email to TDK and I still have been unable to find the current firmware for this drive. I have found the PC version 4000 times but no Mac. I would be forever grateful to someone if they could point me in the proper direction for this. Thk you!!!!! OrangeCrush
are you sure that there is a higher version as thats what i have been seeing only on the sites that i visited
I honestly dont know. I just imagined that there would be as you cant burn to anything above 8x discs. I guess i just assumed that they released these firmware updates whenever there is a new speed disc that becomes available. Guess ill just have to stick with the slower speed discs which ironically are more expensive. Thx for the replies to the thread tho, I appresiate it OCrush
hi, i'm no MAC user, but what i would suggest is this - find someone who has a PC, get them to install your burner in their PC, and install to 1.0C from here - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1596 as 1.06 is ancient...(as 1.0C is dated Sep 2004) it's not the ideal suggestion but it's how i'd personaly attack it..
