I've done some DVD ripping using Mac The Ripper, DVD2onex and Toast and the outcome (DVD) was flawless.
Now I want to convert a ripped DVD to divx - using the(divx6)features of Toast 7.01.
I rip using MTR complete disk (default settings) and then power up Toast, choose the video tab, choose divx in format - choose media, locate my VIDEO_TS folder and select (in this case) the 5 vobs (4 of them is approx. 1 GB and no. 5 somewhat less) and add them to the filelist - insert a blank cd-rom and press burn. Toast now starts processing and the processindicator reaches 100% after approx 15 minutes - and then nothing else happens. No disk-burn or failure/ completion msg. If I press the burnbutton one more time, I'm asked if I want to abort the burn.

    What's missing?

Hi - I use Handbrake regularly with good success. Does you guys have a favored app. for ripping a DVD main feature to something other than MP4? I wouldn't mind having ripped to H.264..... Thanks.
