I need to copy just a section out of a dvd, and then burn them onto another dvd. Now I'm on a mac, so which editing programs are the best/easiest to do this and where can they be found for free. Thanks you for any help in my situation.
    Regards

I read a MACINTOSH DVD RIPPING TUTORIAL, that mentioned RIP/COMPRESS/BURNING and
they used mac the ripper. Will this application let me select just one portion/short clip of a
movie to burn? and I'm not talkin just chapter to chapter, but a shot random clip. Also what
would you recomend for a desktop g5 as far as free compressing application and a burning
    app?
    thanks
