Can't burn higher than 2x DVD! HEEEELPPP ME

Hello it's my first time here... I'm facing a problem and I dont understand what happened I have a LG GSA-4163B DVD Burner in which the DVD-R burning speeds can go up to 16x...

I used to burn at 8x most the times, but suddenly I can't seem to burn higher than 2x ! In the box where you choose the speed you want to burn your dvd there's just the 2x option... I have the Nero Burning ROM version 6.6.0.12

any help in how to solve this i would appreciate since it's very frustrating burning dvd's at 2x speed !

I've already updated to the last firmware a105...

 

hi

sounds like a DMA issue found in device manager it may have reverted to PIO, this can happen if you have a few errors...

you need to uninstall the device and reboot your pc it will find it again and reload itself...
