I just started using MTR and tried to rip a DVD i got in England (Region 2 & 4). seemed to rip OK , used DVD2one, then toast to burn a backup. Plays in computer drive, but not in regular DVD player - says wrong region. Had region set to "all" and no RCE detected. Any ideas. I'm using an iMac G$ with Superdrive and only TY media.

Thanks mrmoe, give me the dummy award. No, its PAL. I Did some more reading after I posted last night. Somehow I was thinking (i use the term losely) that removing the region code took care of the NTSC /PAL level. I guess my only recouse is to play it on a computer. If I'm not mistaken again, a region free DVD player still won't help if my TV is a USA (land of the nothing-is-free, and home of the brave multi-nationals) NTSC unit. Oh well, so much for the one-big-world theory. My sanity depends on fora like this. When I lived in the PC universe in a former life, DVD Decrypter forum kept me afloat and we know what happened to him. Pardon me, my plumber wants me to pay a royalty for every flush.
