Hi I want to overclock my athlon xp 2500 to the maximum possible. How can I do that? I play chess with that, and I want it to be faster. I don't know anything about overclocking. Please help me.
what GHZ is it?....(I don't no that much about AMD chips ) But didn't your Mobo come with a program that lets you overclock i know that mine does and you don't want to overclock it too much or else you will get system instability
i beleive the 2500 is a 2.0ghz u can oc that but it would only be a raise of 5-10ish % unless u spend so serious cash, and also nned a motherboard that will serport ocing have a look here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/83263 should give u a few hints
