is FFMPEG a good encoder?

    hello just wanna know if ffmeg is a good quality encoder and if dvdrebuilder encodes transport stream files to dvd files?

    I'm not that familiar with ffmpeg but through reading it's becoming better??

    since it's not currently internally supported by rebuilder it would be some work transferring files to your working directory.

    assuming it out puts to m2v files like tmpgenc I think it's not an impossibility.....

    Thanks creaky. And just a little update. I meant FFMPEG guys, not FFMEG.

    I heard that this encoder is pretty good from one source but just wanted to hear some other opinions on it
