Hi been using gimp for awhile however I think I'v done something to the settings and can't seem to get the layer window up anymore,
Any suggestions?

PS are my userbars blinking too fast as I will change if you want me to.

no worries.
as to the userbar flashing, not sure, i vaguely remember seeing one of the guys recommend a time delay for the userbars in that stickied userbar thread but can't remember how long the best delay was for.

I'v set mine from 700 to 2000 milliseconds (seems about right).
