I am looking to burn one avi file onto dvd, so i can view it on a standard dvd player. I have read through a few threads asking similar questions, but i have little knowlegde on this and it seemed like alot of work. Is there a simple way of doing this, quickly?

I have a 30 day trail of nero (not express) and standard dvd burning software called roxio. Oh, and i do have a dvd writer.

More than likely the version of Nero that you are using. Open Nero StartSmart, go to Info Tools and locate your FULL version number, something like 7.0.0.0

ahh, so it could be because it is a demo version?

I have tried some other avi files and it works ok with them.
