GTRom Loader v4.00 - Downloads:


Download the GTRom Loader First to check if my server hasn't corrupted the files. If it downloads but doesn't startup then all the files will be corrupt. It seems to be a problem with the PHP on my server

If you notice that these links do not work then just say so and I will try to update them as soon as possible. And if someone could test the firmwares which I have not tested that would be most appreciated

1. Plug starview in at the mains;and put on stand by

2. Plug in null modem cable and join up box with
PC using COM port on PC (there is only one socket for
this on the starview you cant go wrong);

to on.
Press ok , then exit back to TV Screen.

11. Go to scrambled channel and wait for it to unscramble the channels

12 then watch tv.

13. Details how to sort favourites etc is in the manual.
Get a Bin c=image for your area though and this will
save you a bit of work.

thanks a lot yeah that is the firmware i loaded on2 it. also a few more questions. I have 2 genuine starview boxes that won't let me load firmware on2 it keeps saying failed, i ave tryed turning on and off etc etc and still no joy, i also have 2 starview clone boxes which won't allow me to put the clone firmware on2 them. i have done everything with regards to switching the boxes on, off, waiting a while them retrying. can anyone please help me fix this problem. cheers

As regards the genuine one's you can do a box to box software transfer, menu-user set up-s/w transfer-code software,connect both boxes with the nullmodem turn the box you want to load the firmware on away from the remote use the remote on the box with the new softtware on it if this dosn't work then you'll no it's a problem with your cable ,as regards the two clones have a read again in the starview help link under my pic.
