running OS X what program is required to open a unix exicutable program

    Does anyone know what program I need to open a unix exe. file? I opened on my PC no problems, I want to open it with the MAC, any sugestions?

    Thank you for your guidance, I appreciate your insight, you are absolutely right aside from the problem that I posed...finding a place to post it was a challenge. In the future I will take more time to decide where to post. thanks again.

    No probs.. I'm still trying to work out exactly what type of file you are attempting to use. there are some mac users lurking around. If this is a windows program you need darwine to run it. If it's linux/unix then it depends what it is..

    I am going to focus on the darwine option, the material on the site is interesting, thank you so much for your direction.
