    Hi
Is this an original or a backup you're trying to make a copy of?

If it's an original what movie is it and what are you using to remove the copy protection (like AnyDVD, DVDFab)?

    Ok here's some other suggestions:

Is the firmware up to date on your drive?
You can post back the make, model & firmware version and we can check it if you like.
You can find this info in Nero Tools - InfoTool. In the drop down the make and model of the drive will be listed and in the drive tab there's a field for the firmware version.

Have another drive you can try to see if it recognizes them?

Another option is to try to rip w/ Decrypter then use Nero to burn the files.

ok now just need the make & model. Do you see it listed in the drop down of InfoTool?

Or double click on 'my computer' right click on the burner - will be listed as DVD-RW drive or similar. Click on properties then the hardware tab - the make on model will be listed there.

    Just what I needed.

    You have a Samsung SH-S182D
    The latest firmware is SB05.

You can use the 'live update' from Samsungs site to update the firmware.
    Here's a link.

Update the firmware & see if the discs are now recognized.

Did you download the full version of live update? It should just be an .exe that you then run to install.

    Not a problem wwcowww
I'd still try decrypter to rip - what the heck - before I threw in the towel.
