I'm not getting how to burn a .TS file or .MKV file to a standard DVD in HD for playback on a HD DVD Player. I tired Videoredo but it will not recognize .TS or .MKV files that I have. It says "This transport stream does contain an mpeg2 program (for the .TS file). The source is a rip of HD/Blu-Ray material (I won't say what). I guess this means it's an mpeg4? How are you supposed to authorize an .MKV or .TS to standard DVD in HD to playback on a HD DVD player? I also used ConvertxtoDVD but it encodes for standard DVD only. I would like to keep the HD for playback in an HD DVD player. Thanks for your help.
I'm doing research to do exactly same stuff! So far I've got that Studio 10.7 (Pinnacle) can do it. I'll post here any news on research, please let me know if get another road...
