I have been trying to back up Age of Mythology, with no luck. I am using Alcohol 120%. After I create the .iso image, I mount it on the virtual cd-rom, and it works fine. However, when I burn the image to cd-r, it does NOT run. I tried burning it to cd-r using Alcohol 120%, Nero, and Roxio Easy CD Creator. Someone please help me!!! What am I doing wrong!?

the funny thing is, when i load the burned copy of AoM into my cd-rom, the title screen loads no problem, but when i click "play" nothing happens, however when i click "play" from the mounted image on the virtual cd-rom, it works fine. I can actually play the game that way...why is this?

Because your mounted virtual cdrom drive has the protection emulated most likely. I assume you are using DaemonTools/Alcohol?

yeah, i'm using alcohol to mount it...so what can i do to get it t work, other than playing it from the virtual mount?

No.... sly does not need to be wanred as his conduct is appropriate to the nature of a forum. An online forum is as such that members participate together for the greater common good.

I posted a potential solution which you chose to ignore. Sly was simply reminding you to that fact. You were warned. -Click- Come back when you learn to play nice.
